This exodraft DFRSV chimney fan is a specially designed extractor fan with vertical discharge. The fans can be used with all types of fuel burning appliances and are especially well-suited to appliances burning solid fuel such as biomass or solid-fuel boilers, fireplaces and wood-burning stoves.
These exodraft chimney fans are specially made to continuously withstand flue gas temperatures of up to 250 °C and continue functioning in dirty environments. They are constructed of corrision resistant cast aluminium and the screws and bolts are made of stainless steel.
It has a temperature resistant, entirely closed asynchronous motor, with ball bearings sealed for life. The motor is positioned away from harmful flue gases and is continuously cooled by a special cooling plate and cooling vents. The heat-resistant supply cable has cable-strain relief and is armoured.
